Darwin Rocksitters Arthur Dunga Day

Before Paul Hogan became Crocodile Dundee he had a weekly TV comedy show. One of his comedy characters was Arthur Dunga who was the epitimy of the Australian male. always drunk, dressed in a white terry toweling hat, blue singlet, shorts and thongs (flip flops) with white zince cream on his nose. He would usually carry an esky full of beer. Every Australia Day annual public holiday The Darwin Rocksitter would have Arthur Dunga Day and hold a cricket match follow by an Aussie lunch of damper and stew.
